Ignition Coils
The Lucas brand has been a consistent presence throughout the evolution of vehicle ignition systems, from the first traditional ignition systems with points and condensors, through to modern 21st century engine management systems. Ignition coils are essentially wire wrapped around a core to make a transformer, which allows a battery's low voltage to be transformed to create an electric spark. Lucas ignition coils were fitted as original equipment on many classic vehicles.
