Lucas K1F, K2F and KVF Magneto Safety Gap Screw

Rounded nose, slotted hex head screw which locates in the magneto body next to the pick-ups and points towards the brass strip on the slip ring.

Necessary to keep the voltage within acceptable levels.
When the voltage produced by the magneto reaches a level that could potentially damage internal components the spark will jump across the small gap created by the earthing safety gap screw.
